Monday, August 10, 2015. Mackenzie has been trying to earn money for various toys she'd like. We have developed a "bean" system where the girls earn beans by being good or doing chores or good deeds, but they lose beans for throwing tantrums or not sharing or listening. Each bean is worth $0.10 and they can trade beans for money once a week. The girls now have to buy their own toys (within reason) and their own treats. Life lesson learned young. Pen's Pic(k)s .and some of mine too. Everly's 7th month of life was super packed too, what with Halloween, Thanksgiving, a visit from Auntie Toni and the start of the Christmas holidays! Enjoy the pics :). Trick or treating with cousin. Oh how I wish this pic would have been clear. This was her first drive in movie and she loved every minute of it. Hanging with Violet's teacher. Friday, August 7, 2015. We had a blast during Fiesta week! For the past year, Cassidy has been asking to ride this Dragon ride. Last year she was too short but this year she was just the right height and loved it! Kenzie braved it and rode Drop Zone alone! At Noches de Ronda at the Courthouse Sunken Garden watching the flamenco dancers! Needing a break from Mexican food, we had beer and brats for dinner while listening to a mariachi band. Awesome! Cassidy loved dancing to the mariachi music.

Thursday, August 6, 2015. Tennis - week 2. Mackenzie loved tennis so much we decided to do another week of camp for her. The instructors, Tom and Rob said Cassidy could join in if she wanted to. She lasted about 15-20 min each class but she had fun. At the end of tennis camp, the coaches threw the kids into the pool completely clothed. And I told her, it means go. Then she asked what does a white light mean? And I told her it didn't mean anything. Her reply was, "No Mommy, white* light means PARTY! Saturday, July 25, 2015. Posted by Cherise Beard. We went mini golfing in Ventua. It was the girls' first time and they had a blast! We were joined by teachers Miss Rebecca and Miss Colette and their kids. All of them are real good golfers (kids and moms) so it was hilarious to see their reaction when my girls "golfed" for the very first time.
