http://ravensara.blogspot.com/2009/09/unknown-rods-methyl-blue-simple-stain.html
The personal blog of a newly-fledged biomedical informatician, about anatomy, computers, life, or just anything she finds interesting that day. Thursday, September 24, 2009. Unknown rods, methylene blue simple stain. I didn't stain this particular slide tonight, but I did point and shoot. Unknown rods with methylene blue staining to make them visible; not enough information to identify them. UPDATE: Got the title wrong last night; it's methylene blue, not methyl blue. Two different dyes.

Blogging on Seattle politics. Now’s the time. Vocal Locals →. How Democrats took over this year: a grassroots account. December 10, 2008. It was cold, and so were the people. They quickened their step when they saw us and evaded our persistent attempts at eye contact. Do you have a minute for the Democratic Party? I’d rather gouge my eyes out, he said. I’m not voting for him, said one man outside QFC. I said in the unabashedly confrontational tone I’d come to use with opponents. Why’s that? This distrust...

Quoth the Raven: It's like they're in our house
http://ravensara.blogspot.com/2009/08/its-like-theyre-in-our-house.html
The personal blog of a newly-fledged biomedical informatician, about anatomy, computers, life, or just anything she finds interesting that day. Saturday, August 29, 2009. It's like they're in our house. Is exactly what Daphne loves to do, and informed consent is no issue- she bugs me with head-butts until I'll give in and play with her. Around here, though, we call it "Sado-Masokitty", and Daphne the polydactyl cat gives it four thumbs up! Posted by thalarctos @ 8:18 AM. RIP, William McClure.
