Thursday, December 22, 2011. The 2011 Holiday "Newsletter". I usually do a Christmas letter and include it with our cards. But this year I decided to try something different. In the interest of time and resources, I thought I'd see how a holiday blog would work out instead. I was able to mail our cards out today and had this blog partially written. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Like mother, like daughter? Today I had to make a quick call from the house phone. While I was on that call, Carli picked up my iPhone and held it up to her ear like she was talking. It was too cute! I wish I had a picture of it. Thursday, July 14, 2011. New resolution: More frequent, short blog entries supplemented with occasional longer posts. Here's the first one. Since Carli is 20 months old today, I thought I'd post a RECENT picture as opposed to pictures from a couple months ago. It's amazing how much her looks change from month to month. This is her at Magnuson Park Playground yesterday (7/13) when we went on a playdate with Liam and his mommy Anna. Carli LOVES to swing on any swing, and she LOVES. How was the library?

Thursday, October 7, 2010. Can you hear me now? Carli is starting to mimic sounds. One of Carli's favorite books is. It's a board book that has pictures of ducks, cows, sheep, pigs, goats, and roosters and it has the sounds that each of these animals makes. Carli has begun to try to repeat the noises when we read the book to her, particularly the cow and rooster. Sunday, July 17, 2011. Don't fall on the floor. two blog posts in one day! We were on Skype earlier today with Grandpa and Uncle Ryan. Carli was running around (sans pants) entertaining them just being herself. She was doing squats, rolling on a foam roller, and "reading" the Baby-gami. Wednesday, January 18, 2012. We finally had snow today. Other areas in the Seattle metro area have been getting snow since the weekend. Ballard has had minimal snowfall and anything we got melted off almost immediately. Today finally qualified as a snow day. After breakfast and a few Skype calls with Grammi and Papa and Uncle Jeff, we bundled up to head out into the winter wonder-white. It was really white and bright outside! Tuesday, September 7, 2010. I have so many photos from our camping trip (the last week of August), I am going to break them up. The first installment will be about our tent. It has become a tradition to do an annual camping trip with the cousins. We drive to Pearrygin Lake. Which is in North Central Washington about 4 hours outside of Seattle. 1) It's with family, how much more fun can it get? 2) Alex and I got to sleep in Ronnie and Adriane's trailer on the sofa bed. 3) We don't have to bring as much.
