Join Our Mailing List. What to Do with That Old Mandolin? The Seattle Mandolin Orchestra has begun a youth program for children ages 6–10, hosted by TOPS Elementary School in Seattle. This program is based on the very successful Mando for Kids curriculum designed by Laura Norris of the Baltimore Mandolin Orchestra. It introduces children to the world of classical mandolin playing, using a tiered approach through games, songs, experimentation, and skill development.

She is a past winner of the Seattle Civic Opera Association competition, the Helen Crowe Snelling competition, the Mary Levine Career Grant Scholarship and the Karl Trump Award.
