Rice: A Simple Panda Bento
http://rice-jmama.blogspot.com/2011/12/simple-panda-bento.html
A Simple Panda Bento. I bought a bento book. All about pandas recently. The panda rice balls in the book looked simple, and since I have not done any bento with a panda theme, thought I should give it a try. Turned out that it wasn't as easy as I had expected. The eyes and ears was the most difficult part, I don't think I could do it without my seaweed punch. I'm so grateful to the person who invented all these bento-making tools. Fish: Salmon + Bunnies
http://fish-jmamababy.blogspot.com/2011/12/salmon-bunnies.html
I love the salmon here in Japan, they are fresh and taste great in every way. Fried Salmon is a great bento dish and it doesn't require much time to prepare. This is how I do it. 1 Fry Salmon until the outer layer is slightly crispy. 2 Steam Spring Cabbage and Carrot for 3-4 mins. 4 Cut out Kiwi into flower shapes. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rice: Mrs Broccoli Hair

Hina told me she wanted salmon, fish cake and lots of veggie for her bento, so instead of cutting out seaweed. I used broccoli to decorate the. Hina was amazed when she saw the bento and she called it 'Mrs Broccoli Hair'. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Simple template. Powered by Blogger.

Sandwiches: Tofu Bus Bento
http://sandwiches-jmama.blogspot.com/2011/12/tofu-bus-bento.html
Hina really liked the Toufu Train Salad I made 2 weeks ago. So, this time, I made a Toufu Bus and added a sausage bun for her lunch. Fresh Lettuce, Fried Bean Curd, Sausage, Cherry Tomato, Cheese, half a Quail Egg (cap on sausage). Tip: Simply pour boiling water over Fried Bean Curd to remove the excess oil on it.
