Dienstag, 13. März 2012. On Friday the 9 of March we (Jochen and I) started our journey to Chandolin. At our first stop we picked up Nadine and Geli. 3 hours later we ended up at a red sign: “Operalppass closed” Hurray, good work navi! We had to use another mountain pass which took us two additional hours just to be 25 km closer to our destination. So it all became something like a road trip. Finally we arrived at Dago’s place. So the highlight of the day was the BBQ ;-)! Here are the final results:.

Sonntag, 22. Mai 2011. Nachdem wir, wie vor kurzem berichtet die Weissseespitze bezwungen hatten, legten wir alle einwenig traurig unseren Focus auf das letzte Wochenende an dem die SnowCard gültig war. Die Wettervorhersage macht uns dabei auch nicht besonders Mut und ließ die Hoffnung auf eine coole Springsession bei Sonne und Bier schwinden. Aber es sollte noch besser kommen;-). Sonntag, 23. Dezember 2012. Since I'm back from New Zealand, I spent most of my time with training, to get my strength back. I worked with a training schedule and got supervised by the Bootcamp. The training schedule included a 2 times a week workout in the gym, a lot of running, climbing, stretching and exercises for a better coordination. It was the first time I prepared myself for the season that intensive, but I can really say I feel a difference at my skiing. Will support me in the future.

Montag, 15. August 2011. Winter in South America. It's on! After some good powder skiing we packed our tent and sleeping bags and hiked up about 400 vertical meters next to the ski area. After a cozy but stormy night we continued our hike to a ridge line. Some climbing later we skied down some nice spines on the back side and hiked up again to our tent. Freitag, 12. August 2011. Sonntag, 26. August 2012. After 30 hours of travelling, Fabian and I finally made it to Christchurch (New Zealand) on the 13th of August. The first thing I realized when I stepped out of the Airport was, that it was approximately 20°C colder than at home. The next day we got our camper van and picked up the other guys from the airport. Der erste Eintrag im Jahr 2011, soll ein kleiner Nachtrag zur RED BULL Hüttenralley sein. Vom 21.-23.12.2010 dürfte ich mich mit meinen Freeride Latten über die vereiste Skicrossstrecken schmeißen und mich mit Skicrossern, Freeridern und allerhand anderer cooler Dudes messen. Für mich war dann auch gleich im 1/8 Finale Schluss, nächstes mal dann doch mit Rennskiern;-)! HANG ´n SKI.
