On Memorial Day, we set out in the morning for a mini roadtrip to check out the St. Johns neighborhood area in Portland. We drove across the beautiful bridge, saw the quirky mainstreet, and found a huge park in a forest. We spent the rest of the morning playing on the payground. Supergirl on the swing. Best part- the teacher stands on the sidelines to call out the moves to them (it's a class of four year olds after all). After the girls did a cool gym move, the audience was clapping loudly. When you are at the beach in Santa Cruz and you look out over the ocean, you can see the hills behind Monterey. Two of the many major attractions of Monterey are the Aquarium and Cannery Row. Our intention was to go to the aquarium and eat at one of the many seafood restaurants on Cannery Row. The view was spectacular from our table.
