Lifes got a little more busy now I've finally started working as a doctor and so finding extended periods to play with this project is becoming harder and harder. Planning ahead of time has become an ever greater challenge, one or two missing pieces can scupper 3 or 4 days potential work. Saturday, 20 July 2013. With power comes.broken bits. At Easter brother was driving the sprite home and just as he pulled into the yard 'BANG'. Something let go. On restarting it intermittently apparently was fine and then sounded horrendous. Seemed to correlate with loading the clutch and gearbox so the feeling was has something in the box or clutch let go. Que me coming home to rip out the engine and box and start tearing her apart. I had to disappear away at this point but when bro came home a few wee...

Friday, 31 January 2014. So a bit of a large update of the last 3 months. First off: In putting the head back together the stud ripped out of the number 4 pedestal.again. And went back to the shop to be repaired where they amazingly put a fillet in and saved the head! Unfortunately on putting it all back together again something was clearly wrong. So out came the engine and then back in she went. Purrs like a beauty now. As an aside here are some photos from the Exeter Trial this year: Absolute madness :).
