Welcome to Second Grade! - Blog 2013-2014

Welcome to Second Grade! This week the second grade started talking about songs we would like to dance to in the end of the year show. They had many different ideas. We are working on agreeing on one song for the class, which may take awhile. We also painted and created our own tambourines. We also did a fun science experiment where the kids had to use materials given to them to try to remove an object from a block of ice. They had fun working together and trying different ideas. Giving back to Braintree.

Sweet and Colourful books which are ideal for a 2nd grader. Our book list for kids, Grade 2. There are some great books specially written for a 2nd grader to help them to be able to read words or two or more syllables as well as read with expression. Parents can help their kids to sit and read for 15-20 minutes each day and ask them to read after you with expression and intonations. Few interesting books such as Hi! Reading is a great interesting activity with your favourite books in your hand.
