St Louis Design Community Connections. RIP to My Dear Niece: ChipIn by Pay Pal for Funeral Costs. Friday, Sep 3 2010. News of a Personal Nature. My dear niece, Jessica Erin Toal. Died suddenly on 8/27/10. She was cremated on 8/30/10, and our family has set up a fund to help with the costs of that, as well as help pay her final bills (rent, utilities, etc.), and any money left over will be used to establish a modest trust for the 8 year old son she leaves behind. Here is a link to the ChipIn. And all the ...

Ophanim: Tooth Ring Featured
http://ophanimgothique.blogspot.com/2011/11/tooth-ring-in-treasury.html
Friday, November 25, 2011. I discovered one of my tooth rings. Featured in a treasury devoted to bones. I was quite pleased by being featured in this treasury because I've always loved the idea of working with bones an teeth, both real and sculpted and resin-cast. The idea of creating something lovely out of something macabre has always inspired me. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Ghostly lace, tea stains, and vintage ribbon. Ophanim: Magnifying Cabochons & Eyeball Jewelery
http://ophanimgothique.blogspot.com/2011/10/magnifying-cabochons-eyeball-jewelery.html
Sunday, October 2, 2011. Magnifying Cabochons and Eyeball Jewelery. Some skeleton necklaces. An anatomical ribcage, and a 16th century engraving. An engraving of Beelzebub. And an anatomical ribcage. Some small cabochons with a big fancy "O" and my shop name. Don't quite know what I'll actually do with these! A choker with Boucher's The Toilette of Venus. Cute and sparkly bows and a necklace. In the next couple of days! Wish me luck in taking about a billion photos! October 11, 2011 at 8:00 AM.

Ophanim: December 2010
http://ophanimgothique.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 12, 2010. One of my favorite hat shops is Scissorfiend's Etsy. She has a gorgeous collection of hats with gothic details such as stripes, feathers, and even cast resin skulls. Some of my favorite hats are her mini tricorns, but I'm a complete sucker for tricorns! If you like the idea of a realistic faux skull perched on your head, but can't afford to drop the cash on one of her exquisitely made hats, she also sells hair bows. Made with small resin bird skulls. Friday, December 10, 2010.

Monday, October 3, 2011. Etsy Love: Parish Relics. One day while hunting down some stained glass pieces for a different blog post. I was writing, I stumbled across Parish Relics. And was very pleased with what they had to offer: gorgeous medieval inspired jewelery pieces made with real stained glass and gorgeously textured and finished polymer clay! I've been thinking about these pieces ever since I saw them! I think pieces like this could easily be worked into any outfit to add a little bit of romance!

Ophanim: Custom Perfume Blends
http://ophanimgothique.blogspot.com/2011/10/custom-perfume-blends.html
Wednesday, October 12, 2011. One particular crafty project I'm working on that I'm very excited about is custom perfume oil blends. I am slowly amassing a small army of single note fragrances and have been playing around and day dreaming about what I want to create! There are so many scents I want to try to create, inspired by so many different things. So far, I'm really enjoying this craft project, how could I not? I get to sit around and smell pleasant things all day (beats smelling E6000 all day!

Ophanim: August 2010
http://ophanimgothique.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 27, 2010. Packaging, Art, and Cameos. I've been doing a lot of work giving my shop a little bit of a makeover. I'm trying to work on packaging and what I guess you could call advertising. It's a lot of hard work, but it's sort of fun! And a hole puncher that makes tiny little holes! What can I do with that? Well, I've found that I can do a lot of things with it that create a, hopefully, professional look to the things I make and sell. I've also been working on some postcard sized prints fo...

Saturday, February 19, 2011. A few weeks ago I sold a black and white checkered bonnet to the lovely Sammy at The Random Lolita Blog. And was delighted to see her post a coordinate with it! Check out her post. For another great Gothic Lolita coordinate! About what I learned while I vended there! I really enjoy vending at conventions and can't wait for this years Anime Boston where I'll be vending some more! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Petite Cafe Otete SWEETS DECO. 9829;Kawaii Pretty♥.
