A Brave New World Cookie. As brave as I think I am in the kitchen, I have never altered a recipe when baking. Yesterday all of that changed. Salted caramel rice krispie treats {the leftovers club}. As if the macarons. Weren't enough, my salted caramel frenzy has now spilled over to rice krispie treats. I just couldn't help it. My kitchen is no stranger to the rice krispie treat, but I usually go with a slightly salted, browned butter variety. Perfectly delicious, no need for modification. So, naturally, I modified it. I have no regrets. These were awesome. I sent some off to Ginger Stark of Stark Raving Delicious. 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal.

Secrets From My Kitchen. 1 1/2 pints sour cream. 1 15 oz. can fruit cocktail (all fruit drained). 1 15 oz. can pineapple chunks. 1 small can mandarin oranges. 1 can cherries if desired.
