Christina in South Jersey: April 2015
http://christinainuganda.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Christina in South Jersey. Monday, April 13, 2015. Piper and I were on a little 5 mile jaunt this morning as I reflected on my life and on my next steps. God made a way. If my original plan- to get married and have kids- had happened, I'm not sure I would have been so quick to jump in with both feet. I'm so excited. and so nervous. Of course any time you walk into the unknown lots of insecurities creep up (at least for me, they do)- am I smart enough to get through a masters program? I'm a follower of Je...

Christina in South Jersey: August 2014
http://christinainuganda.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Christina in South Jersey. Sunday, August 17, 2014. Then, as the service began I noticed she sat alone. Always so put together, she seemed a bit out of place without him by her side. It wasn't as though she was lost, just uncomfortable. It was clear that their long life together had made absence, even short lived, seem like an eternity. Within minutes, he was there beside her and she was at ease. True love. So, why am I being such a creep? Well, that's just who I am. Accept it. ;). Other Blogs I Stalk.

Christina in South Jersey: IL, NJ, UG and Everywhere
http://christinainuganda.blogspot.com/2015/01/il-nj-ug-and-everywhere.html
Christina in South Jersey. Saturday, January 10, 2015. IL, NJ, UG and Everywhere. Within 2 days of being home I was told about a Ugandan Kid's choir concert that was only about 10 minutes from my house. Talk about wanting to go home! As soon as the first song started, so did my tears. I was overwhelmed with joy to hear "Jabulani," a song that I've both sung and heard many, MANY times. The icing on the cake this week was reading this quote on a friend's page. "You will never be completely at home agai...

Christina in South Jersey. Saturday, May 9, 2015. Reflections of an Imperfect Perfectionist. Sometimes you cancel plans and decide to stay in. Best decision I've made all day, let me tell you. I needed a break. And I realized I needed a break when I couldn't keep the tears from falling over something silly. Let me make myself uncomfortably vulnerable and explain. Yes Someone took my hand and taught me and I felt comfortable with those I was with. Am I the best skater ever? You see the craziness? Satan ha...

Christina in South Jersey: Choosing to Love
http://christinainuganda.blogspot.com/2014/12/choosing-to-love.html
Christina in South Jersey. Sunday, December 14, 2014. You're either a cat person or a dog person right? Well about a year and a half ago, I adopted a kitten from a shelter. Why on earth would I do something so dumb? But more than that. through the words of a friend, I realized how little grace I've extended my cat. But how much like the cat can I be sometimes? I do that too. (No, not literally. though, how funny would that be? How great is His love for ALL His people? As I thought about this even further...

Christina in South Jersey. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. Retreating, Idol Removal, and Other Adventures. Warning: a long update lies ahead. Proceed with caution. A few weeks ago I mentioned a retreat that I had taken with my youth kids. I've taken some time to think through and process all of the things God did and the best way to describe it is amazing. Volleyball tournament. heading to the 2nd round! Aren't we cute picnic-ers? I love this group of people! Two Saturdays ago, I even got the chance to play gui...

Christina in South Jersey: Abundant Blessings and Special Privileges
http://christinainuganda.blogspot.com/2014/12/abundant-blessings-and-special.html
Christina in South Jersey. Friday, December 5, 2014. Abundant Blessings and Special Privileges. I had the amazing privilege of spending Thanksgiving with a dear friend and his family in North Jersey this year. It was a lovely time and really felt like a vacation for me. His family lives in a gorgeous home on a beautiful lake. It was very picturesque as the show fell while I wrote my sermon, sitting by the fire with my puppy by my side. Perfection. She was well behaved. it gave me hope for Christmas.

Christina in South Jersey: "Eh, You Have Been Lost!"
http://christinainuganda.blogspot.com/2015/02/eh-you-have-been-lost.html
Christina in South Jersey. Saturday, February 7, 2015. Eh, You Have Been Lost! I know this is pointing out the obvious, but God is so good. I've been bad about blogging lately and I think one of the main reasons is because I'm so overwhelmed by all of the things that God is teaching me. so much goodness that I've not been able to articulate it. But I'm so thankful to be overwhelmed in this way. Praise the Lord! Looking back from this side of the Atlantic, January was hectic. I spent the last two full...
