So I started setting up a new vSphere cluster at work to test and eventually move everything over to from our existing ESX 3.5 cluster. We are upgrading SANs and Environments all at once so we have wanted to do a lot of testing! I do have to say though now that everything is running.vSphere and Lefthand ROCKS! So just like companies all around the world the one I work for fell victim to McAfee today also. With a little work we were able to create a fix. Its a very simple fix in fact and took about 5 or 10 minutes per machine. Unfortunately it does require the use of sneakernet. Here is our batch file we used:. Echo Preparing to fix McAfee's.
