Tuesday, May 27, 2014. As I write this morning, the smoke is so thick here in Sedona. The cool air from the night brings it down and it is oppressive. Usually I have a beautiful view of Thunder Mountain from my back deck-. This morning, I cannot see past the street behind me, and feel my lungs burning. These are from some other nearby trails I've spent a lot of time on. This was from the other night- the wind starting blowing the smoke south and the sunset caught the smoky clouds. Blue quail rises up.
