They swapped his gold for silver. And made him stand on the rubble. Treat it like a victory mound. And listen to how far it carries sound. As you remind them what was broken down. And split apart to shape the crown. You’re better than struggle, you never complained. There’s metal moulded into your membranes. You go into hibernation.
