Seeds In His Garden was founded in 1998 by Rebecca Adams, a woman from California, U.S.A. When Becky arrived in Kenya in 1997, her intention was to stay one month. She volunteered with children and stayed in a tent in a slum located in the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. Although she accomplished numerous things that month including arranging activities and helping the people develop and plan for the future, it was clear to her that there was a much greater need.
