A Year Gone By | how does your garden grow?

https://howgardengrow.wordpress.com/2012/01/05/a-year-gone-by

How does your garden grow? A year of gardening. Oh What a Beautiful Day…. A Year Gone By. January 5, 2012. I would like to say maybe this blog will be a journal for this year’s gardening/homesteading endeavors, but I make no promises. Life just seems to stay busy, even as we begin to approach the years with children leaving the nest. Well, I could go on and on, but I’ll stop my ramblings for now. Good to be back, I look forward to your comments again. Until next time – Happy Gardening! A Year Gone By.

How does your garden grow? A year of gardening. And we have light–for real this time! A Year Gone By →. Oh What a Beautiful Day…. March 17, 2011. A glimpse of spring today. Maybe it will be here soon! I ventured out this afternoon to take advantage of warm temps. I was actually rather warm in my sweatshirt! Doesn’t it look wonderful? On the seed planting front my broccoli, cauliflower and onions have all germinated and are doing well but I’ll save that for another post. This entry was posted in Gardening.

On My Way to a Green Thumb: Pretty Purple Pansies

http://cultivatinghergreenthumb.blogspot.com/2011/04/pretty-purple-pansies.html

On My Way to a Green Thumb. My green thumb came only as a result of the mistakes I made while learning to see things from the plant's point of view. H. Fred Dale. April 21, 2011. I love the spring time! The word pansy is such a weird name. I actually love it when someone calls me a "Pansy" in a derogatory way. I am always like, "You want to call me a Pansy? Well thank you for thinking of me as a cute little flower! Caring I would bring these pansies back to life. That was not the case. They strug...I'm j...

And the wormz have it… | how does your garden grow?

https://howgardengrow.wordpress.com/2011/02/28/and-the-wormz-have-it

How does your garden grow? A year of gardening. Some serious problems here. Here a seed, there a seed, everywhere a seed, seed… →. And the wormz have it…. February 28, 2011. I must confess, I have avoided writing about my worms since I got them because I was concerned I had done something wrong. Did I make the holes in the tub too big? Was my bedding too wet for them? Did they not like the moldy spaghetti I gave them? Was the basement too cold. You would have thought I lost my favorite pet! I opened up t...

I’m trying to firm up my seed order so I can get it placed, but it’s so overwhelming. I came across this website today Vegetable Varieties for Gardeners. Update on the worms. How does your garden grow? A year of gardening. Newer posts →. And there was light…. February 18, 2011. A couple bumps in the road along the way. First I never bothered to measure how long the light fixture was, I just thought it would fit on my craft table. Guess what? It’s too long. Good thing I had an extra PVC pipe! So after pulling the craft table out and finding the longer one out in the garage (that overhangs the doorway about 6 inches) I have my grow light stand. Until next time Happy Gardening!

On My Way to a Green Thumb. My green thumb came only as a result of the mistakes I made while learning to see things from the plant's point of view. H. Fred Dale. March 24, 2011. Spring is HERE, and I'm Not Ready! Spring has finally sprung, and I'm not even close to being ready! However, it's been nice that spring in my neck of the woods is still cold and snow covered. What do I need to get done before it's time to plant all my little seedlings? Need the irrigation water set up so it waters my rows.
