Running Against The Wind. Friday, March 22, 2013. Choosing Joy - Laughter. Thursday 22nd - I made my friend laugh uncontrollably today. She couldn't stop. It was the best. I think that is pretty much my favorite thing - making people laugh. I wonder what that would be like as a full-time job? Bringing joy to other's around you? Helping them to relax. Releasing endorphins. Walk away with a smile on their face. I don't think I'm quite that funny, but that would be pretty amazing. Choosing Joy - The Weekend.

I hate that feeling of having your hopes dashed, which happens way too often in my life. While I feel thankful and joyful about nothing today, I'm alive. Saturday 23rd - We finally had some nice weather so I got to spend the afternoon doing one of my favorite things - weeding. I'm not kidding. Sunday 24th - I'm managing a nasty cold. Again. But, I dosed up on cold meds and made it the Vegfest, put on by the Vegetarians of Washington, with two good friends from work. We had so many taste-tests that it probably equaled an entire meal!
