The Nelson Family: Making It
http://bennkortney.blogspot.com/2014/08/making-it.html
Wednesday, August 6, 2014. We've been here for over a month. That's crazy. I was pretty aware that these days were going to fly by. That's what happens when you have three rambunctious little ones who never stop moving. Honestly this start has been much less intense than expected. Every time Ben would show up at decent hour, or even early, it nearly threw me into a panic "Why are you here? Don't you have studying to do, classes? Are you going to pass your classes? I am not ready for this! Ben is busy stu...

The Nelson Family: December 2013

Friday, December 13, 2013. My blog is neglected. Better than neglecting my children though, right? In case you haven't heard, we made a decision! I haven't done that in 10 years, seriously. The other thing that I'm looking forward to is Ben having holidays again! Only in academia do you get 2 weeks off for Christmas. Sure, he will be studying, but I'm still excited. The things I'm not excited about? What am I going to do without my Kennady all day? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Ben and Kortney Nelson.

Saturday, June 29, 2013. Once upon a time there was this crazy pregnant lady. It was me. Now you know this story should be good. First, let it be known that I am severely sleep deprived right now. Yep, welcome third trimester and all the sleepless nights that come with it. What, you say you slept like a baby your third trimester? Now to the story. She thought one day she would do something to earn a little extra money. "But what? She casually put up a post on Facebook advertising custom throw pillows....

The Nelson Family: May 2013
http://bennkortney.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 30, 2013. Yep, it's time for one of those posts again. Good news: I'm no where close to having a baby. I'm only 23 1/2 weeks along, so this is still good news for another 14 weeks or so. Bad news: I'm having regular contractions on somewhat regular basis. They make me tired, sore and grumpy. Good news: I'm not on bedrest and don't have to take any drugs, yet. Bad news: I lost weight, again. Bad news: Korban was way less cooperative, got no xrays, and no teeth cleaned. Good news: He did let ...

Wednesday, November 26, 2008. Our Oven Timer (guest author). The old western dinner bell holds no coal to our oven timer. Our boys are more attuned to the simple beeping sound than most musicians are their instrument. Pavlov would be excited to see reaction of the boys at even a single beep as I get to the oven a second late. "Dinner? I just put water on to boil guys," I let them know again. No, I just turned on the oven.". I love my boys. Friday, November 21, 2008. Guess I'm a fangirl. My parents had an...

Wednesday, November 2, 2011. 30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 2. I am thankful for a husband who knows how to and enjoys cooking. He puts together the yummiest dinners and desserts from random things in the kitchen. It was SO good tonight. He keeps us well fed. Tonight was a taco pasta salad type thing. I'm really hoping the boys finish it off because it's REALLY yummy and I'd probably eat the whole thing if it's left in my refrigerator. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. 30 Days of Thankfulness - Day 1.
