The Wild Word Project A ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. Monday, April 30, 2012. God on the loose among us. Sue sent these photos of the ways she's seen God on the loose. There's a female cardinal that wants to drive out another cardinal she thinks is in our basement window. I guess we all want to protect what we feel is ours. In the woods, there is life growing from an old dead stump. Thanks for sharing, Sue! How have you seen God on the loose? E-mail photos to pastorkirsten(at)gmail(dot)com. And so w...

The Wild Word Project A ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. Friday, June 1, 2012. God on the Loose Among Us. Mark Blume sent me this story about how he saw God at work last night. We invited the couple to join us for dinner. They declined and the woman’s husband made a joke about buying us all dinner, but at McDonalds since there was so many of us. Wild Word Project: 1 John 5:9-13
http://wildwordproject.blogspot.com/2012/05/1-john-59-13.html
The Wild Word Project A ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. Tuesday, May 15, 2012. This second reading for the 7th Sunday of Easter is 1 John 5:9-13. If we receive human testimony, the testimony of God is greater; for this is the testimony of God that he has testified to his Son. Those who believe in the Son of God have the testimony in their hearts. Those who do not believe in God. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know that you have eternal life.

The Wild Word Project A ministry of Peace Lutheran Church. Tuesday, May 22, 2012. Tuesday's Text- Acts 2:1-21. This weekend, we celebrate Pentecost- the day when the Spirit descended and the people understood one another, even though they spoke in their own languages. It's sometimes referred to as the birthday of the church. When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. Divided tongues, as of fire, appeared among them, and a tongue rested on each of them. All were amazed and pe...

I have, however, enjoyed this time to meet other brothers and sisters in Christ in Northern Ohio. I was invited to preach at Faith Lutheran Church. In Lakewood on May 13. What follows is the sermon I preached there. What does love look like? Is that a puzzling question or does an answer come immediately to mind? 8221; Folks at my ho...
