Jumping In with Both Feet: My Crafty Summer - Day 17 - Finished Adventure Time Chibis
http://desireeaimee.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-crafty-summer-day-17-finished.html
Jumping In with Both Feet. Tuesday, July 17, 2012. My Crafty Summer - Day 17 - Finished Adventure Time Chibis. I didn't want to show these to you guys, but I said I would even show the stuff that embarrasses me. Other than finishing those up, I spent last night sanding some of the resin pieces. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do with the steampunk elements, so I think I'll just keep making and storing them until I'm inspired. Posted by Desiree Canup Koons. Jumping In with Both Feet: November 2011
http://desireeaimee.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Jumping In with Both Feet. Wednesday, November 9, 2011. I have created a garment! I finally ventured into the terrifying world of sewing clothes! Now, I will be the first to admit that I dipped the tiniest part of my tippy tippy toe into that vast pool of sewing, but I still did it. :). I made a pair of lounge pants for Clark with more on deck for him and Lauren, as well as Dan and myself. So easy, so much cheaper than the store *and* they can be whatever we want them to be. Very excite. The hair was ano...

Jumping In with Both Feet. Friday, October 28, 2011. Tree pants are (mostly) complete! Also, a few clips. The other good news is that the Halloween costumes are mostly finished. Dan isn't sure yet how he wants to finish his costume, so I won't post photos until everything and everyone is ready to go. And then I'll probably post a lot about it. :D. Anyway, here are some photos of the tree pants. Posted by Desiree Canup Koons. Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Tree Pants, Week 1. Posted by Desiree Canup Koons.

Jumping In with Both Feet: My Crafty Summer - Day 18 - Media Comparison
http://desireeaimee.blogspot.com/2012/07/my-crafty-summer-day-18-media-comparison.html
Jumping In with Both Feet. Thursday, July 19, 2012. My Crafty Summer - Day 18 - Media Comparison. Currently I'm using three types of media for jewelry and cabochons/clip centerpieces: Polymer clay, cold porcelain and resin. I'm finding that each has it's own positives and negatives and I thought I would take a moment to compare them. The two letters on the left are resin and the two on the right are polymer clay. The bottom right has been glazed, the top has not. I'm torn on these. I like the...The left ...

Jumping In with Both Feet: June 2012
http://desireeaimee.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Jumping In with Both Feet. Thursday, June 28, 2012. My Crafty Summer - Day 8 - Marceline Chibi. I'm not that pleased with how she turned out, but hopefully she'll look more Marceline when I paint on more detail. The biggest challenge was her "accessory". I knew it had to be the ax-bass, but I was stymied on the size and placement of it.Anyway, here she is. Posted by Desiree Canup Koons. Tuesday, June 26, 2012. My Crafty Summer - Days 6 and 7 - Adventure Time Chibis. I just love that little backpack!
