My Little Sunbeams: Our Family
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/p/our-family.html
Welcome to the Lingg Family Blog! Me, Myself and I. My name is Tiffany. I am a Christian thirty-something wife and momma. I love to craft, sew, paint, cook, read and write and never have enough time to do any of it! I also love spending time with my friends and my family and at my church. More times than not I refer to my little ones as "the girls." While very different from each other in a lot of ways, they both are very girly girls! Our soon to be 13 year old Australian Cattle Dog-Border Collie mix....

My Little Sunbeams: June 2013
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Wednesday, June 26, 2013. Last week our church was transformed into ancient Athens and our kids visited and spoke with Paul, learning all about how God loves us all, no matter what, even when others don't. Leading up to VBS involves a lot of planning and preparation. This year I was asked to be the Marketplace Director - the one to organize and coordinate all the crafts the kids do at the various "shops" during the week. But the conversations you get to have with those kids. Posted by Tiffany Lingg.

My Little Sunbeams: February 2015
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 18, 2015. As expected, schools are closed for the second day in a row. Our first makeup day has been scheduled for this coming Saturday. Other makeup days I guess will be decided once we see just how many days we'll be out this week. Some have said we'll be lucky to return to school on Friday. The children catching snowflakes craft turned out pretty cute. I have them hanging on our sliding glass door today. They are certainly unique! Look at those mouths full of teeth! Unless we make ...

My Little Sunbeams: May 2012
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2012_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, May 31, 2012. Art 101, Lesson 1 with Gabrielle. I have mentioned probably a hundred times on this blog before - Gabrielle LOVES art! I tried to find an art class for her to take this summer but unfortunately all of the classes offered within close proximity required that she currently be in kindergarten or completed kindergarten. I decided we would do "homeschool summer art classes" instead. You can find more information about this series at www.officialhomeartstudio.com. Today Samantha is at P...

My Little Sunbeams: Snow Days
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2015/02/snow-days.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. Schools are releasing early today, grocery stores are packed with people getting stocked up on milk, bread, water and the fixings for soups and chili - and probably junk food, all in anticipation of the winter weather forecast to hit our area late this afternoon. Will we get snow or will it be mostly sleet and freezing rain? It is less a matter of "if" but more accurately "how many" days will school be cancelled? I am sure the girls would love to spend the next 24-36 hours at h...

My Little Sunbeams: Ash Wednesday & Lent 2014
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2014/03/ash-wednesday-lent-2014.html
Thursday, March 6, 2014. Ash Wednesday and Lent 2014. The first day of Lent was yesterday, Ash Wednesday. For the past couple of weeks I have been praying, journaling, thinking, and meditating in hopes God would make very clear to me something I need to give up or take on this year. I was beginning to think it would never happen. But in God's timing, right? Another really honest moment here - this will be more challenging than no fast food! I have become incredibly rushed with bedtime routines. At th...

My Little Sunbeams: Raising Children
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2014/03/raising-children.html
Friday, March 7, 2014. There are moments - like when the girls are fighting and fussing or just completely ignoring any and all instructions and directions given them by me or Ed - when I think to myself "What am I doing wrong? I must be a terrible parent! During these moments it is so easy to want to throw my hands up in defeat. Posted by Tiffany Lingg. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. My Little Sunbeams: June 2012
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 21, 2012. I heard this song on the radio this morning and just fell in love with it. I love the sound and after listening to it a dozen times, I fell in love with the words too. I just had to share. Posted by Tiffany Lingg. Sunday, June 17, 2012. From Caterpillars to Chrysalis to Butterflies! For Easter this year we gave the girls something I have been wanting to get them for a couple of years now - a butterfly habitat! Caterpillar on May 29th. Caterpillar just 2 days later! Our directions...

My Little Sunbeams: December 2013
http://twolittlesunbeams.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 25, 2013. I still cannot tell you why I haven't felt very Christmas-y this year but being at our church's Christmas Eve service helped turn it around for me. I love being in church on Christmas Eve - it's a beautiful service and feels so warm and peaceful. After church we did our annual tradition of a Christmas light cruise followed by opening one present once we got home. The girls got new pajamas which they loved! Posted by Tiffany Lingg.
