http://shruggingmyshoulders.blogspot.com/2015/02/announcement-2.html
There are a few versions of the same announcement, you can tell us which one you like in the comments :). A couple pictures of our China transportation. We'll need your help and suggestions figuring out where to put the 5th Judd, who should arrive in August! And just because it's funny, here are some pictures a friend drew for us highlighting all our transportation options when we were a family of four. Photo credit to comicstripmama). Shrugging My Shoulders: October 2014
http://shruggingmyshoulders.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
THE JUDDS ARE DEBT FREE! No consumer debt, no student loans, no mortgage. We're 100% in the black. (except the continuing debt to love one another.we still have that one). We don't have to manage (or pay someone to manage) a property while living on another continent. Not only did our mortgage get paid, we also got a issued a check. The house is going to great buyers who will love it and love the neighborhood. And loving the neighborhood wasn't a given for a potential buyer. And now, if I may: the lament...

Shrugging My Shoulders: May 2015
http://shruggingmyshoulders.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
In this video you can see one of the more interesting and endearing cultural practices of the local people. In parks, apartment complexes, or other open spaces; in the morning and in the evening you often see older ladies dancing. Line dancing. Some are just there for exercise, but some are quite serious about it. You can also see two other girls who are "quite serious about it". I told Jill I would give her 1 yuan ($0.15) if she would join them. so far my money is safe. It's fun being two and three!

The Great Adventure: Favorite Things!
http://wwwgocciaadventures-mel.blogspot.com/2013/08/favorite-things.html
Thursday, August 29, 2013. Time for a few of my favorite things! 1 Lacto Fermented Saurkraut. Don't let the name scare you! Do you enjoy saurkraut? My mom says that when I was little she would open a can of kraut, I would follow her around and beg her to let me eat it straight out of the can. Well, I made my own saurkraut (which is so much better for you) and it's amazing. The boys can't get enough of it! If you are new to the benefits of lacto fermented foods here. 2 Salt and vinegar almonds. I began lo...

Saturday, February 5, 2011. Cripes. Where have YOU guys been? Seriously, I've been here the whole time. Well, ok. I'm here for my quarterly blog post then, I guess. In true "me" fashion. I don't have the patience to actually formulate a compete blog post, so here's the random run-down. I hate snow. Like honestly could do with out it for the rest of my life and be perfectly content. I wouldn't make a very cute bald girl. I wish babies really were delivered by storks. And by delivered, I mean dropped on yo...

http://shruggingmyshoulders.blogspot.com/2015/05/its-fun-being-two-and-three.html
It's fun being two and three! I'm under no illusion that you guys read this blog because of my stellar writing. I know the vast majority of you just want to check in on the girls and see their cute faces. I hope this post satisfies :). This was the attire the girls chose one morning. Pajamas, outside shoes, hats, and backpacks. This was taken later the same day. I did at least get them out of pajamas and more presentable to go outside. By the way, what are these contraptions called in English? View my co...
