All About the Berg Fam.: Medora!
http://patandvalberg.blogspot.com/2015/07/medora.html
One of my favorite spots in North Dakota is Medora. It has been a few years since we stopped at the famous, tourist trap, and the kids didn't remember it - so we were able to meet up with Pat's parents for a day/evening and take it all in on our journey to North Dakota. Here are the pictures to go with our stay. Checked in to the ol' Badlands Motel. It was rough on the outside, but all remodeled inside. Fun! The best shooting game - just like the cowboys did! And Grandpa Wes and Amiah! Or all of them!

Winter Carnival 1st Weekend. Lots of people {they est. 30K per day} for Winter Carnival to capture some of the winter beauty and see the amazing sculptures! The Carnival starts with a parade on the first weekend. So excited to walk Drake to the parade. The streets are lined. Crazies pushing shopping carts (and trying to throw candy on the 2nd floor). Amiah's friend Andie found us! Drake had a nap during the parade. Walking on the frozen lake always a highlight. And strolling through the vendor food court.

It's always bitter sweet to leave the family for work. What makes it better is good company, good locations, and a quality conference. I headed to the Solution Tree summit in Anaheim for 4 days with Jenn, Andy, and Aaron. We had a great time and didn't seem to sit still much. {And yes, we did learn a lot too}! 1st night out at House of Blues in downtown Disney! A picture for Cooper at Legoland! And just so my family would believe it I really went on the California Scream Roller Coaster! It was 7 AM and s...

All About the Berg Fam.: July 2015
http://patandvalberg.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Sadly, this was our first camping trip of the season. Once we got there it was so relaxing and worth it. Even the kids kept saying, why don't we do this all the time? We all loved our time away (and it was the perfect way to celebrate our anniversary). The boys kayaked through this channel out to Hazard Lake. Amiah and I hiked up some great rocks and had some quite time on the top! Posted by Valerie Berg. Out on the boardwalk: Cassie, Amiah, Savannah, Alex, and Gracie. Megan wasn't able to come. McCall h...

Fitting real healthy into real life. Saturday, September 28, 2013. This is my favorite time of year hands down and we are just a few short days away from my favorite month. Don't get me wrong- I love a summer beach day, but October's sweater and rosy cheek weather is ah-mazing. I love the fall fashion. I love the fall running weather. I love the fall food. I love the fall brews. I love the fall coffee. It's all good. So, I call this my Lazy Lady's Apple Sauce. Lazy Lady's Apple Sauce. A friend of mine to...

Healthy Ambitions: Treadmill Pace, Green Smoothies & Dessert
http://healthyambitionsforlife.blogspot.com/2014/01/treadmill-pace-green-smoothies-dessert.html
Fitting real healthy into real life. Sunday, January 19, 2014. Treadmill Pace, Green Smoothies and Dessert. Our treadmill was delivered shortly after my last post. Hooray! As for the specific model of treadmill, I went for the Sole F80. There are so many treadmills out there, which made it hard to decide. I used the treadmill doctor. My first post-baby half-marathon. Does anyone else find significant differences in their treadmill versus outside pace? I always thought treadmill pacing tends to be slightl...

Monday, November 25, 2013. First Ever 30 Mile Week! And Georgia Coast Rail-Trail (Woodbine) Review. I've been a bad, bad blogger lately. I haven't been keeping up with my regular blogs, or writing my own. I think it is the time of year. It's not that I'm actually busier than normal. but my brain is. What time should I serve Thanksgiving dinner? What should I serve? Can I get away with ham again this year? Maybe I should ask someone else to make the turkey. Only shopping days till Christmas? I wonder if e...

Beltman Family News: May 2015
http://beltmans.blogspot.com/2015_05_01_archive.html
May 11, 2015. We just finished up an amazing weekend and it just happens to have been Mother's Day to boot! Friday when I picked everyone up from school I also picked up one of Sophia's friends for a sleepover. The girls played outside while Brad and I put a whole bunch of stuff out on the curb for our city-wide clean up day and then we all headed inside to make homemade mini pizzas. It doesn't matter what kid I'm feeding, this is always a hit with my own and guests alike! We had debated stopping on our ...
