Taking advantage of a few free hours yesterday afternoon (the Friday before Memorial Day), I walked home from my office on 57th and Park. Along the way I did a little window shopping, sipping my iced coffee and taking my time. As I stopped in front of the building, a wave of emotion hit. 9 years have passed! How is that possible? Wednesday, April 29, 2009. So much going on lately as many of you know (who know me well.). I returned home from Miami late Monday night and took Charlie out for a coffee run on Tuesday morning (literally a run - she either sits or runs). After we got home, we hung on the couch for a little longer than normal since I had been gone for 3 days. It was the best 10 minutes of my day. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sunday, April 19, 2009. A new outlook on life in NYC. Charlie is a 4 month old Puggle that has come to me from Missouri (another good midwestern girl comes to the big city! So, a week ago, my weekend would have consisted of brunch, mani/pedi, maybe a date, shopping, dinner, drinks etc.This weekend I've done Petco about 4 times, interviewed pet sitters and napped with Charlie at my side. What a difference a week makes and I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that Charlie is from Missouri!

I snapped this shot of Bloomingdale's last night.it's the view from just outside the subway station. Having just seen Bedtime Stories (highly recommended! I thought "well, this is the stuff my fairytales are made of"! If I were to write a bedtime story for myself, it might just be based at Bloomingdales.perhaps I would live there?
