Wednesday, March 31, 2010. 1Cut beetroot into small pieces and boil them for 3 whistles in cooker. 2pour oil in a kadai,once hot add mustard seeds,jeera,dry redchillies ,chanadal. 3Add onions and fry them till golden brown. 4Add little turmeric and gingergarlic paste. 5Fry this till the raw smell goesoff and add corinanderpowder. 6Now add the boiled beetroot pieces,salt,chillipowder and fry for 15mins. 7serve hot with roti's. Monday, April 19, 2010. Diced Tomatoes(canned Italian style). Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds,jeera,chanadal,greenchillies. Add onoins and fry till goldenbrown. Now add diced tomatoes and fry for 5mins with lid on. Now addsalt and water for gravy and mix it well. Add tofu just 10mins before as it is very soft.
