Thursday, April 8, 2010. This is the simple and yummy menu I cooked for Easter. 1 can of cannellini beans. 3 tbsp olive oil. Sun dried tomatoes in oil, drained and finely chopped. 2 tbsp finely chopped rosemary. Salt and ground pepper. Fresh basil leaves to garnish. HHHmmmm….enjoy it! 3 tbsp olive oil. 2 onions, chopped. 4 carrots, sliced. 4 garlic cloves, crushed. 2 celery sticks, thinly sliced. 4 large courgettes , sliced. 400 gr. can chopped tomatoes. 900 ml vegetable stock. Sunday, May 9, 2010. Mother’s Day has just gone by. I have never been too fond of celebrations which I feel too commercial (sorry I really dislike Valentine’s Day… I cannot help it) but I start to appreciate the importance of being celebrated once a year. If we take it as a “healthy pit stop” it is really worth while giving time to reflections. So I did. I took my kids out for lunch and I made the point of my “motherhood career” while having delicious Italian food. So, one at the time, they spoke to me.

Sunday, November 29, 2009. TO WIN OR NOT TO WIN. I went to the Sport Award assembly at school, the other day. Honestly by mistake because my kids are more academic than sport champions. I thought it would be the last assembly of the year and Clara, my daughter no. 3, was supposed to get her first Principal Award for having had three commendations.
