We drove in from our campsite just outside of glacier, got set up and got our lunches packed before we headed out for a hike. Avalanche Lake was recommended to us, so we decided to give that a try! For those of you not familiar with camping, that is called "Boondocking" when you spend the night somewhere for free without electric or water hookups. The lighting in caves is very difficult for those of us that don't know how to use all of the features on our camera! We decided to drive to the Canadian side of the border and spend the day. We passed these little friends along the road on our way. Our drive was beautiful and isolated.
