The Appalachian Trail starts on Springer Mountain in North Georgia and ends about 2,181 miles later on Mount Katahdin in Maine. The trail was completed in 1937. Along the way you can see black bears, white tail deer, moose, bald eagles and more. Will and I encountered wild ponies on our trek. View from the car of the Blue Ridge Highway.
