A friend from Valentia asked if I would make her a couple of hot water bottle covers recently; I've made a few of them in the past but thought I'd try a different pattern this time. My latest copy of 'Simply Crochet' magazine had a popcorn stitch pattern so I decided to use that - a hot water bottle cover needs to be quite thick/textured to help keep the heat in. I made the front with popcorn stitch and then did the back just in plain single crochet. Promote your Page too.

Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Yes, yet more crocodile wrist warmers! These always seem to sell so well for me in the run up to Christmas so I try to make up some stock in the rest of the year. I've been so caught up on just updating with the 'photo a day' posts so I'm a bit behind in other stuff on here. The weather has been absolutely glorious for most of the month so I've made full use of the good days and have been beach combing (beaches 1 and 2 are now all clean AGAIN! April - photo a day, part five.
