The musings of a new mom, who has babies on the brain. Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Happiness vs. Fear. The strangest thing about being pregnant so far is the huge contstant swing from being excited, elated, and happy about being pregnant which can in a second turn to fear, concern, and devastation each time the Doctor mentions genetic couseling, fetal testing, and possibility of misscarriage. Plus these books are killing me - I can't stand to read any more about all the things that could go wrong! I have...

Thursday, June 22, 2006. So I finished the sweater class last night. If grades were passed out I would give myself a B . Here's a pic of the FO (finished object). Last week I was so frustrated with it that I feared it would become an UFO (unfinished object) but I did it! Tonight's agenda includes more felting for the Booga Bag. Which after one washing has yet to actually felt. Also more work on the husband's socks. I knitter's job is never done . . . Posted by neonapple at 11:11 AM. Links to this post.

Saturday, May 27, 2006. We have officially made it through 3 days together and I haven't even thought about killing Mom . . . but I do admit to rolling my eyes quite a bit. Thursday I put Mom on a San Francisco bus tour and then to the Asian Art Museum, where we throughly wore ourselves out. I won't go into detail about everything we saw becasue if you know Mom she will take care of that when you see her. Suffice to say she has pictures to document each part of ther trip so far. Friday, January 27, 2006. So I am taking this socks class and I am right now mid way through the knitting on this project. In the picture you'll notice that each sock is in a different place. Sock A is what I learned in the first class - so we started the sock cuff and got down to the heel flap. Sock B is what I learned in the first class and second class adding on the heel turn and picking up the gusset stitches. Posted by neonapple at 8:48 PM. Links to this post.
