Monthly Archives: June 2011. June 30, 2011 · 12:30 am. Thanks to a push from my employer (notice of non renewal for my employment contract) I now have a retirement date. June 30, 2012 will be my last day of work. I’ve been working since I was 14 years old so that date will mark 45 years of my life spent working. It will certainly be strange to have no job. After being raised in Southern California, and working for 30 years at NBC in Burbank, I now find myself semi-retired in TN. This site will hopefully not just be about me, but also about those I’ve encountered and learned from. I describe myself as semi-retired because I no longer work in the traditional sense, but have transferred what remaining energy I have, to my pursuits within my relationship to Jesus Christ and as it pertain to my endeavors at Christian Gospel Temple in Cross Plains, Tennessee.
