http://cisforcockerham.blogspot.com/2013/01/c-is-for-clare.html
Wednesday, January 23, 2013. C" is for Clare. December 29, 2012. 7 pounds 13 ounces. Our sweet Clare was born a few days after Christmas! My midwife was still on vacation, so Dr. Whitham was the doctor on-call attending my birth. Once I got settled in the hospital with my epidural, I quickly dilated from 4 cm to 10 cm in under two hours. I'm thinking to myself, "This is going fast. I can totally do this! John and Clare sleeping in hospital. John, Tully, Clare. Depending on his mood. It's your world, ...

feel the rain: February 2015
http://confessionsfromelise.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
A look into my daily life. Wednesday, February 18, 2015. Well, we finally got ourselves a school closure. School was canceled yesterday due to ice and power outages all over. I lost power around seven pm on Monday night and didn't get it back until around five pm the next day. It went off again, but just for about a half hour. I am lucky that I don't have big trees in my yard. This is what my parents woke up to:. Isn't that an absolutely TERRIFYING sight? I went over to their house for a little bit this ...

Wednesday, October 27, 2010. C" is for Vitamin "C". For all the mommies and mommies-to-be out there, I thought you might be interested in the chart I created to figure out which prenatal vitamin I wanted to take. I would note that a) I'm not a doctor. And b) more doesn't necessarily mean better. (If you've ever taken too much iron, you know what I'm talking about.). Click chart to enlarge. Neevo DHA: cost unknown. CitraNatal Assure: $57, less Fe and Ca. CitraNatal Harmony: $60, no C, I, Zn, or Cu. Born a...

Thursday, November 29, 2012. C" is for Can. I should also mention that our neighbor paid nearly $500 for the little walkway outside her gate, and ours looks just as fabulous! Now I can ignore all of the nasty-grams from our HOA about visible trash cans too. Thanks, John! Thursday, November 29, 2012. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. http://cisforcockerham.blogspot.com/2012/12/c-is-for-caved-in.html
Tuesday, December 11, 2012. C" is for Caved In. Combo of the two? Who knows. Needless to say it scared John to death and dealt a major blow to my self-esteem. Now that I've written this, I think the dust bunnies under the bed might actually be the most embarrassing part. Thank you, Zach, for leaving massive puffs of your black dog hair hidden under my bed. Project. Then we rigged this setup, since the vertical supports clearly weren't doing their jobs. One Night At McCools. Wednesday, December 12, 2012.

"C" is for Cockerham: December 2012
http://cisforcockerham.blogspot.com/2012_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 19, 2012. C" is for Child #2 (cont.). Clare gave me a little bit of a scare around 37 weeks. She was in a sort of transverse position with her head up (See red arrow in diagram below for a visual). By 37 weeks there's not a lot of room to move around, so baby should be getting into a head down position and staying there. Clare was nearly breech. Breech almost always means an automatic c-section. No bueno. C-section crisis averted for now. Unfortunately, baby ends up face down on the f...

http://cisforcockerham.blogspot.com/2013/02/c-is-for-clare-cont.html
Monday, February 11, 2013. C" is for Clare (1 mo). My baby girl is already a month old. The good news is when Clare does go to sleep, she stays asleep. Her brother, on the other hand, liked to take 45 minute cat naps. Clare likes her beauty sleep. We do too. In other news, she lost all of the dark hair on top of her head. (You like the bow toupée? My poor kiddo is balding. There is some bright blonde hair coming in in its place though. Until then.bows! Tully 22 months; Clare 1 month. That he will have ho...
