life ndank ndank: May 2009

http://nod83.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

The life of a peace corps volunteer in senegal. Exercising the young minds of Senegal. My room suddenly feels like some sort of progressive Koranic school. Two talibe kids are sitting on my floor coloring, Mozart fills the air and I sit in a chair sipping coffee. I just handed them each a ripped out coloring book page and they stared at me like I was stupid. Their looks seemed to say, "This already has a drawing on it! Plea to the wallets of America. I met Jesus today while I was sitting on the curb outs...

http://fukakai.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Tuesday, June 19, 2012. I had no idea that was a thing until I just looked it up on Wikipedia, but it's a nice way to open a post. I just saw that some other people had updated recently, so I thought I would ride the mini-wave and let people know what's up with me. I'm like a real homemaker or something. Again, I haven't actually tried it yet. American comics, as Mie-chan calls it. Ah, well. Everyone else's loss. Alright, I guess that is pretty much all of my news. Update: the pie is delicious . I said, ...

Iwakan: New Mac

http://fukakai.blogspot.com/2012/10/new-mac.html

Thursday, October 25, 2012. Anyway, the new one is running fine thus far, but I want to vent on a couple things here. 1) The seller didn't send the CD, which wouldn't be that big a deal, if he/she had bothered to reset things to factory settings. As it was, I had to search the internet for a method for resetting the administrator password, because a computer you can't install things on is basically just a (safari-using, ugh) web surfing machine. http://nod83.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

The life of a peace corps volunteer in senegal. I made a hat. yea. Don't judge me, but, I cried my first tears in Senegal several nights ago. They were not tears of physical pain. They were not tears of cultural frustration. They were not tears of 'why can't you speak english! They were not tears of 'please don't make me eat rice and fish again'. They were tears of longing; Longing to be with those I love at home. Don't get me wrong, I love. 160;in America that get to me. . Journal entry 10.10.08. 8220;O...

http://nod83.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html

The life of a peace corps volunteer in senegal. This is all you get. Training I put together was successful. Host father passed away suddenly (this was very difficult). Intense riots in my neighborhood (destroyed buildings, tire burnings, fires, tear gas, beatings, rock throwing, theft, car running over people). Staying busy with work and loving it. That's the gist of it. I promise that once I can comprehensibly order my thoughts on paper you all will get details. I miss and love you all.

The life of a peace corps volunteer in senegal. 4th of July Memory. I apologize for my long absence from the blogging world. Thursday, February 23, 2012. Hello, all. Sorry for the lack of updates. To tide you over, have this nice picture of sushi that I made. Since I have a request for math updates, perhaps I will do something about that soon enough. I can't go into too much detail about it, though, I guess, since then someone will steal all my precious research. Anyway, other than that, what has been going on in my life? http://fukakai.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Sunday, March 25, 2012. His motivations and dialogue are baffling, like there were pages missing from the script. Anyway, check it out. Now for the only part of the post that may be sort of interesting to people. I probably shouldn't bury the lead, but here it is. A while back, a caring soul sent me the book American Ballads and Folk Songs. Damn, damn, damn the Fillipino,. Cross-eyed, kakiack ladrone! And beneath the starry flag. Civilize 'em with a Krag. And go back to our own beloved home! Haha, get it?

Senegal Trip November 2011. Updates, pictures, insights, and the latest on the Senegal Team 2011 from the First Baptist Church of East Stroudsburg. What challenged me while I was in Senegal earlier this month? As I promised but never delivered, what did I learn while I was in Senegal? He reminded me that I shouldn’t put God in a box.
