I received my M.Sc. degree in Computer Science (networking and mobility) in 2008 from University of Trento, Italy. I have successfully completed my PhD in Computer Science at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany in October 2014. Senseable Moscow is an interactive map of Moscow. The map shows where Moscow citizens (red colour), foreign tourists (blue colour) and Russian tourists (yellow colour) take photos in Moscow. The map is based on user-generated content from flickr.com and contains more than 40,000 photos that were taken in Moscow from 2005 to 2012 from almost 3,000 users. This is a research project made by Ekaterina Izmestieva / Strelka Institute for Media, Architecture and Design.
