My Life After Layoff. On August 31 2009, my job disappeared. This is a journal of sorts - of my search for a new job, and how I'm trying to survive in the meantime. Tuesday, September 28, 2010. I seem to be having a couple of weeks of sitting on my hands waiting for one thing after another . And once I get the new one home, I'll be waiting for my friend the computer builder to get back into town and install everything for me. Is waiting for him to locate the parts he needs, without which it can't move...

My Life After Layoff. On August 31 2009, my job disappeared. This is a journal of sorts - of my search for a new job, and how I'm trying to survive in the meantime. Sunday, June 27, 2010. Well, life has certainly been - interesting. As in, "May you live in interesting times.". But I did finally figure out what I was doing wrong, so now (fingers crossed) my posts will at least stay posted and not disappear any more. I'm not going to try to re-create what vanished, just take it from here. I was laid off - ...

Ice House: Hello...Is anyone out there?
http://monroeice.blogspot.com/2010/08/hellois-anyone-out-there.html
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9. HelloIs anyone out there? Wow it has been a L-O-N-G time since I posted last. I last posted in March, right? Well, March 2, 2010 my Uncle David lost his battle with cancer. I let a lot of things slide after that. Anyway, the kids are back in school and I'm getting back on track. We had a good but quiet summer and the kids are enjoying being back in school. August 31, 2010 at 9:10 PM.

Ice House: Poor kid!
http://monroeice.blogspot.com/2010/09/poor-kid.html
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9. My 4 yr old is an accident waiting to happen. He is wide open all the time and NEVER watches where he runs! Monday evening he was playing in the yard with my mom and my other children. They were having a wonderful time playing their own version of "Minute to Win It". Somehow he tripped and when he fell his mouth is what caught him. Wanna see the damage?
