There are over two million people in the UK living with a sight loss. This ranges from difficulties reading a newspaper, driving and recognising a familiar face, to blindness that makes it difficult to cook, manage personal care or leave the house independently. People with sight loss face many challenges in every area of their lives including independent living, housing, health, leisure and the workplace. How can Sensing Change help you? Making it easier for you.

Our experienced Rehabilitation Team. Is able to advise you about more complex aspects of sight loss, including more details of your condition. We can also:. Carry out a specialist assessment in your own home. Provide advice and information about services and resources in Suffolk. Provide useful equipment that can assist you with daily living skills. Teach you to manage everyday tasks in the home safely and confidently. Teach you alternative forms of communication such as Braille or Moon.

We are Sensing Change. Sensing Change is a social Enterprise formed to provide services to people with sight and/or hearing loss in Suffolk. Staff within Sensing Change previously worked for Suffolk County Council’s Sensory Team and many of you may know the services they provided. The practice not only provides social work, but a range of other services that address the needs of people with sight and hearing loss. Making it easier for you. We are Sensing Change.
