The structure of the cake is made using a system called "cake bones", created by Francois Long and Bronwen Weber. What says hockey more than a giant hockey puck! In the centre of the puck is the Maple Leaf's Centre Ice logo (or my version of it anyway). The birthday boy (adult really) loved his cake. Thanks to those of you who have been waiting patiently for the details. Tuesday, January 13, 2009. It has been a busy few months. I was just checking through some photos and realized that I have completely forgotten to post a bunch of cakes I have done recently. My heart was beating so fast. I will definitely be avoiding another close call.
