Well, these past few weeks have been busy ones for me but happy ones as I also celebrated a birthday! Sobetter late than never. here are my completed Halloween treats for 2013. Wishing all of you the Peace, Joy and Love that this beautiful season brings today and everyday. This is a Lizzie Kate pattern that I stitched using Threadworks 1085 and blending filament. I added a few beads on the top and bottom borders along with a brass heart charm. I finished it into this pillow originally intended as a Christmas gift for my Mom. December 25, 2010 at 6:37 PM.

I have a picture on my kitchen wall that says, "No recipe's complete 'til you add some love." Isn't that the truth? Homemade (anything) says "Comfort and Love." Taking those few extra minutes can mean so much! I've always liked to try new recipes. Aside from the fun of the day, I was also anticipating my birthday. 5 days away. Having 4 children close in age, I look back fondly on all of the costumes that were lovingly made and the excitement that filled our home on this holiday. Such times seem to be not that long ago.but they are in my heart forever! A Basket Full of Treats.

Friday, November 29, 2013. Was a jolly happy soul! He resides in my repurposed coal bucket filled with some faux seasonal greens. He sports a dandy homespun scarf and chenille trimmed mittens to keep him warm and rusty jinglers on his jaunty top hat. A couple of friends came along to keep him company.
