Food Soju Good Times. 한우리 – beef and noodle casserole. Beef and noodle casserole or 국수전골 is one of my favorite meals in Korea and I think Hanwoori does it the best! It’s KRW 22,000 per person for the beef and noodle casserole but there are other variations that are more expensive. I’ve only tried the beef and noodle here but the other items seem overpriced. Food Soju Good Times. Coyote Saloon is a new pizzeria and bar in Hongdae that I read about on one of the Korean food blogs that I follow. The space is small but quaint and the interior design is very eclectic, so it gives a dynamic feel. Grapefruit salad KRW 6,500. The grapefruit was so fresh, cold and juicy. Food Soju Good Times. Pigs feet or jokbal (족발) is another expensive Korean delicacy. It’s not glamorous and it’s definitely not healthy but it’s darn good! This is one of the famous restaurants in 장충동 or jokbal street. All the cab drivers know this area, so it shouldn’t be too hard trying to explain. As you walk-in you see the lady slicing up the ham hock. Next to her is the pit of ham hocks ready to rock, beautiful and gross at the same time. You definitely need some alcohol to wash down all the grease.

Food Soju Good Times. 차돌집 – the REAL Chadol House. Chadol House is one of my favorite BBQ places. Their specialty is chadol-baki (차돌박이) or thinly sliced beef brisket, also one of my favorite cuts of meat. I started my blog with a write-up on a restaurant with the same name, and that Chadol House. Was horrible. I feel so relieved to share with you guys the REAL Chadol House. Chadol-baki (차돌박이) KRW 15,000 per serving. Rating: 8 out of 10. 차돌집: 02-790-0789 across the street from Noksapyeong station exit #2.
