Some tips for during the heat of summer. Make sure your pet always has fresh water available. If your pet’s kennel, aquarium or cage is in direct sunlight, move it so that it is undercover. In the middle of the day when it is the hottest, avoid exercising or over-exerting your pet. Pets with short or light-coloured fur can get sunburnt. Be wary of having them continuously in the sun.
