Knitting Blog for Bina T. Knits. While at the Dancing Sheep I knit a few more inches of my Lace Tank, which is still taking forever, but the time I finish it might be too cold to enough. After my Knit in Public adventure, I got ready for my Kool-Aid Yarn Party with a couple of my friends that I taught to knit. Here is a quick slideshow from that day🙂. This slideshow requires JavaScript. So it’s possible I went overboard with the yarn shopping since my last post, here’s what I got:. So I sure have a lot ...

Knitting Blog for Bina T. Knits. Why haven’t I been blogging? I have recently not just been away from blogging, but my knitting life was put on pause for a few months… why? Well in mid November me and the husband found out that we were pregnant (well mostly me) but between morning sickness and exhaustion, when I wasn’t at work I was sleeping or just on the couch not feeling up to doing anything. Here is the first official baby picture of Baby T. at 11 weeks taken on December 26th, 2012. Baby T at 11 weeks.

Brilliant Teacher | Hookin' Up With Vita

Hookin' and Bloggin'… a crocheter's journey. Hookin' Up With Vita. I am a brilliant teacher. Sometimes, in the hubbub and rush of the day, I forget that. I come home feeling defeated after writing 10 detentions for pointless things like uniform infractions, talking back, arguing, etc. Sometimes I cry when I think about going back to work the next day. And I can’t stand it. 1 ticket = 2 pieces hard candy, or small eraser. 3 tickets = pencil or small fun note pad. 10 tickets = gummy wrist band. They’...

https://hookinupwithvita.wordpress.com/2013/06/28/little-bear
Hookin' and Bloggin'… a crocheter's journey. Hookin' Up With Vita. This is my second attempt at making a little bear out of my Little Bears to Knit and Crochet. This little guy is the basic bear crochet pattern. Since I tried my first time, I’ve mastered the art of Amigurumi (crocheting in the round to make figurines). What really surprised me about this pattern is HOW EASY it is! I completed this little guy in about two days. Day one consisted of making the pieces. The Stand (Book Review). Sorry, your b...

Hookin' and Bloggin'… a crocheter's journey. Hookin' Up With Vita. For awhile, I’ve put Amigurumi (the art of making shapes and stuffies out of yarn) on the back burner. It’s a skill that I’ve always wanted to learn, but didn’t have the guts to tackle. Then I happened upon an adorable pattern book in a local bookstore. It was so cute, and the patterns were so fun, I HAD to make me a Little Bear. This is what I ended up with at the end of the day:. Stitching it together took some work. It was a techni...
