http://hyppopothesis.blogspot.com/2012/04/paying-attention-to-details-plugs-and.html
Yet another blog about design speculation. Saturday, 7 April 2012. Paying attention to details - plugs and adaptors. I think plugs and adaptors can be a very good topic to talk about good and bad design. When I was young, as far as I remember, plugs were sort of standardized in Italy. There were only two different, yet very similar, shapes:. Multi-plug adaptors, were made to fit these plugs and save space. And they worked! Now context has changed. The Hyppopothesis: Tea bag usability
http://hyppopothesis.blogspot.com/2013/03/tea-bag-usability.html
Yet another blog about design speculation. Friday, 29 March 2013. Every morning, the first thing I do when I enter the office is preparing myself a cup of tea. That's how I start the day, with a hot mug of tea (or infusion whatsoever). Whenever I try out new stuff, here's my user journey:. I pick the tea I want to try full of curiosity and expectation. I unwrap the tea bag and throw the paper wrapper into the dust bin. I pour hot water in the cup. I put the tea bag in the cup. 30 March 2013 at 06:39.

http://hyppopothesis.blogspot.com/2013/03/gesture-interfaces-meet-myo.html
Yet another blog about design speculation. Tuesday, 5 March 2013. Gesture interfaces meet MYO. Natural interfaces are something that we've been talking about for a while now and in the last years ideas and products involving or enabling them blossomed and became intertwined with our daily lives. But iPhone was just the first step. First and then Kinect. Completely changed how games have been played. Promises to transfer the gestural kind of experience to a computer screen as well. MYO is nothing more tha...

The Hyppopothesis: UX Conferences
http://hyppopothesis.blogspot.com/p/ux-events.html
Yet another blog about design speculation. I have been collecting a list of conferences about UX for my company lately and I think they could come in handy to some of you too. So here you go. :). Some conferences are for practitioners, others are more introductory to the field - be sure to check out what suits your needs;. When conferences have more than one date/place, I selected the closest to Italy (yet I added a note every time I did, so you can check the official website for other locations).

Many useful information have been shared and suggestions on how to do our job better. All in all a very nice conference, despite the "remote location" in Rome. The Hyppopothesis: About
http://hyppopothesis.blogspot.com/p/about-hyppopothesis.html
Yet another blog about design speculation. I am the scribbling one. I like writing reminders on my hands, drawing. Cooking new recipes, sleeping on my garden swing in the sun and looking around for weird/clever interfaces and poppy fields. He definitely is the clever guy. Running and experimenting with new stuff (don’t ask me how but he always knows what’s going on and what’s new and he’s using it before anyone else I know). You can find him at @bahgat's blog. http://hyppopothesis.blogspot.com/2014/02/the-best-way-i-found-to-make-quick.html
Yet another blog about design speculation. Friday, 7 February 2014. The best way I found to make a quick and perfect "soffritto". For years I've been struggling with cutting onions in "soffritto" size when cooking. But then, one day, with no reason, I found the perfect solution for the problem and I stuck with it ever since. So I thought it could come in handy to someone else too :). Here are the steps:. Cut an onion in half. You'll get a bunch of onion wedges attached to the bottom. Some of you may ask.
