I’ve been studying Russian for the past year — I took an intro-level course during my undergrad, and am now using Nicholas J. Brown’s. New Penguin Russian Course. So today marks the day that I was able to write down complete sets of noun endings for masculine, feminine, and neuter nouns in all their configurations (that’s 156 endings! Walking into the second room of the Courtauld, though, not yet really properly tuned in to looking at pictures, this one grabbed hold of me before I'd had a chance to think about it.
