Time at home with my little man has been great.so great that I was already thinking about asking my boss for more time off of work to stay home longer. I had lunch with her and a couple of my coworkers last week and good news.she wants me to bring him to work for a little while! This is Hunter's face when I old him:. So how has the first month gone? He was exactly 4 weeks old when he did it. I looked it up and apparently that doesn't ha...

Wednesday, November 27, 2013. I got them back and it's official.I love them! Our friend was so sweet to offer this as a baby gift to us and we couldn't thank her enough! I'll let the pictures do the talking. I mean, maybe it's just me.but helloooooo tall, dark and handsome cowboy! I may be biased :). While I was taking pictures, Patrick was listening to the Packers game on Sirius XM. (Side note, he didn't even complain ONCE about missing the game to take these pictures! We were laughing so hard at him!

Monday, July 29, 2013. On Being A Farmer's Wife. Farmer's are some of the hardest working people out there. They have to work 7 days a week, sometimes around the clock, and long days in extreme heat and cold. All just hoping they break even at the end of the year. If you make a profit, even better. There is one word that can sum all of it up: Sacrifice. Too bad, there's hay to be put up. Friend's wedding in the Spring? Looks like I'm going solo. You go. No questions asked. The biggest sacrifice a farmer'...

Prairie Princess: October 2013
http://deeretomyheart.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 31, 2013. I haven't really dedicated a whole lot of posts to Baby H yet, and I know some people do weekly postings while they're pregnant. I wanted to give you guys an update on how baby is doing. Here is a picture from our 4D ultrasound in week 32. He wasn't in a great position, so it was hard to get a good picture. This was my favorite from the pictures we got, because you can see his little hand in front of his face while he sleeps :). Tomorrow I will be 33 weeks.7 weeks to go! But w...

Prairie Princess: February 2014
http://deeretomyheart.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. Last weekend Patrick and I attended a local fundraiser for the Mondak Stockgrower's Association and the Foundation for Community Care. Both are local non-profit organizations. Obviously Stockgrower's helps promote animal agriculture, and the Foundation helps support local healthcare. This was the second year the two teamed up to put on the Cattleman's Ball. It's a night full of food, dancing, drinks and an auction. How lucky is he that he had 2 hot dates? The evening started...

Wednesday, April 30, 2014. Cutest Baby on the Block. I know I probably haven't put as many pictures of Hunter on here that some of you would like to see. So, I have a whole post dedicated to his cuteness :). Playing with some sunglasses in my office. And who doesn't love a naked baby in the bath? Asleep on the bed. I love his little feet in this one. This is one of my favorite pictures of him. Aaand sometimes he falls asleep in his chair like this. All ready to go on a walk! Love this little man! This wa...

Prairie Princess: We ARE Some of the Lucky Ones
http://deeretomyheart.blogspot.com/2014/05/we-are-some-of-lucky-ones.html
Monday, May 5, 2014. We ARE Some of the Lucky Ones. I know that we all get caught up being overly critical of ourselves, others, and just downright negative sometimes.especially on Mondays :). I came across this list of things the other day, to remind ourselves that we are lucky. Some of the easiest things in our day we take for granted. So on this Monday morning friends, remember, that we ARE the lucky ones. 1 You are alive. 2 You are able to see the sunrise and the sunset. 15 You have someone with whom...

Prairie Princess: Farmer Food Thursday: Banana Cream Pound Cake
http://deeretomyheart.blogspot.com/2014/05/farmer-food-thursday-banana-cream-pound.html
Thursday, May 1, 2014. Farmer Food Thursday: Banana Cream Pound Cake. For Easter I decided to make a really delicious dessert that I've made once before.Banana Cream Pound Cake. This is one of my favorite desserts to make.and let's be honest.to eat. It kind of reminds me of that vanilla pudding and vanilla wafer dessert, if any of you have ever eaten that. I found this recipe in the Taste of Home magazine, and of course their pictures look amazing. Nope, not even close! You guys should really try this!
