Pulpit of Joy: December 2009
http://pulpitofjoy.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Musings from a 40-something progressive minister who tries to find joy in everyday life, though some days the search can be exhausting! Wednesday, December 30, 2009. Good bye and good riddance! I will admit it. I'm doing the happy dance just thinking about 2009 leaving, and 2010 arriving! And here comes 2010! Don't get all cyncial on me now. Let's say it together, "Yes, we can"! A congregant of mine sent out New Year's wishes that gave me a laugh. I joyfully share with you:. My Wish for You in 2010.

Ponderings and Musings: Home from General Assembly
http://uutasha.blogspot.com/2012/06/i-just-returned-home-from-phoenix.html
Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Home from General Assembly. I just returned home from Phoenix, Arizona, where my family (along with thousands of others) attended the 2012 General Assembly (GA) of the Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA). It was a historic GA, our very first Justice GA. We came as people of faith, from all across the United States, to stand in solidarity with those fighting for immigration reform and against the dehumanizing policies and laws enacted in our country like SB1070. Blogs from Awe...

Ponderings and Musings: July 2012
http://uutasha.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Hello, Hell - Can I leave yet? This is such a bad week. I think it's officially the week from Hell, and it far surpasses any previous weeks that seemed hellish. Unless some prayers get answered pretty quick, in 2 days we'll be living in a hotel room and everything we own will be in a storage unit somewhere. Or at least that's what I'm going to keep telling myself until this is over. Thursday, July 5, 2012. The view from Down Here. I've been mulling on how to articulate what it w...

http://uu-jester.blogspot.com/2007/06/hope-and-fear-cousins-in-conflict.html
Friday, June 15, 2007. Hope and Fear: Cousins in Conflict" - Prologue. 8220;Hope and Fear: Cousins in Conflict”. And actually, more demanding. J Ruth Gendler's Book of Qualities. One of my favorite texts for worship planning. I highly reccomend it for everyone's personal library.). Rabbi Michael Lerner's The Left Hand of God. Another good book. I hope some of the candidates for the next presidential election have read it. Heck, I hope our next president actually reads books. She is easily overlooked.

UU Jester's Journal: New Court, New Jester
http://uu-jester.blogspot.com/2009/08/new-court-new-jester.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. New Court, New Jester. The stage is empty for eight months. That is truly a pathetic showing- or non-showing, I guess- even for the regularly irregular jester. My apologies to the court. The UU-Jester has been a bit busy, what with being voted out of the castle and all. But, have no fear. Like any good jester, like all the traditional tricksters, I have landed on my feet in a place where I really wanted to be. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Because only a fool would speak th...
