Serindipity: September 2013
http://shedrum.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Sunday, September 01, 2013. This was done by using a piece of cardboard and covering it with batik fabric. Then stamping with paint and wrapping with copper wire and beads. Here is another pendent made from a Kroger bag and gold wire. I saw this technique on You Tube severak months ago and made several using colored plastic bags and wire. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Serindipity: February 2015
http://shedrum.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 16, 2015. This is how it looked out my front window about noon today. Grateful for a nice warm house! Sunday, February 01, 2015. I am BACK. I started this quilt perhaps two years ago, but had so many problems because my vision was so bad that I decided to try it another way. So, I turned all the pieces under and I was still not happy with it, so put it aside. Then several months ago I had cataract surgery on both eyes, which was a miracle! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sunday, June 30, 2013. I've been playing with a new idea for bracelets. This one is made from the seam of an old pair of jeans. Strung with wire and beads added. I've make quite a few and will share one at a time. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Married with one grown son and two adorable Beagels lives in Lexington, Ky. Serindipity: TEE SHIRT NECKLAS
http://shedrum.blogspot.com/2013/12/tee-shirt-necklas.html
Sunday, December 01, 2013. Here is another necklas made with a tee shirt. I simply took the neck and cut it part way around, then left an amount in the front. I then sliced the fabric from the bottom up to the neck added pony beads and knots. How simple is that? I think I will make some more of these in different colors. It just slides over your head. http://shedrum.blogspot.com/2014/12/it-has-been-while-since-i-posted.html
Saturday, December 27, 2014. It has been a while since I posted something, but I'm back! Working on two larger quilts, but took a class on Crafty, called Stupendous Stitching by Carol Ann Waugh. What fun. I started with a hand dyed fabric, then couched on it, then did machine embroidery, then hand embroidery. I then stretched it over a canvas. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Serindipity: March 2013
http://shedrum.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 12, 2013. NEW FABRIC JEWELRY PIECES. As some of you know, I have been playing with the possibilities of Fiber Jewelry. The first piece is made using a scrap of Batik fabric, backed with black felt and ribbon for a tie. The second piece is made from strips of felt with rinestones attached. Very fun to do, and will wear one to Quilting Guild meeting tonight and see what kind of a reaction I get. Wednesday, March 06, 2013. Spring Has arrived in Kentucky! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
