It's early in the morning, and Alex is running, again. This time, though, his mood is entirely different from before - lighthearted, peaceful. He's running, and the sun is rising, and the colors over the mountains behind the city are beautiful. The sky is all reds and delicious oranges and rich golds, with purple-grey, wispy cirrus clouds scudding across it. So now he's running, and soon.soon, maybe, he'll sleep. The weather in Seattle has been unpredictable lately. One week it was cool and rainy, the next warm and rainy, and the next week it was cool again. And rainy. It's only made Derek that much more anxious for their honeymoon, feeling the need for sunshine and warmth all the way in his bones. With any luck Meredith will be home before dark to enjoy it with him, but even if she's not? He's a got a date with the dock, a cooler of beer, and maybe, just maybe his favorite fishing pole. Meredith is having one of those days that you find yourself annoyed for no reason. The kind where every little thing sets you off, nothing goes right, and you just want to scream. So, after already. Being in a completely rotten mood and then having a day at work from hell, finding a stain on her favorite shirt, locking her keys in her Jeep, and starting her period, she has had just about enough of today.
