I have no idea what I am writing about. Follow me anyway. Sunday, May 17, 2015. Teacher, teach thyself. I haven’t written in a few years because someone was metaphorically standing over me with a scowl and it was no longer fun to write. However, I realized tonight that I always tell my students to write in their journals that I have given them, when they feel things, any things, meaningful or not. Write them down, I say. Don’t shy away from what you are feeling because you will learn from it, I say.

Feb 20, 2011. Bryant's been playing Jr. Jazz Basketball, and he's having a good time! We sure love him! Jan 28, 2011. Bryant has been so excited for the Pinewood Derby. All the usual excitement that boys get when it's time to build cars and race them against the other boys in the pack has been building up ever since he received that little block of wood. Being the third boy in the family, he has been able to attend numerous derbies, and he always looks forward to watching the cars race! Great job, buddy!

I learned, during some rural camping, why roosters are not allowed in the Portland city limits. 4:30 am rolls around awfully early, and there isn't anyone who doesn't know about it within a square mile of a rooster.
