We have a strict "You answer the phone and it's now YOUR problem" policy. This means that it doesn't matter who the customer spoke to before you or when. When you answer the phone, it is now YOUR matter to deal with. Do not transfer the guest to the agent they ask for and do not pretend to take a message for them.
